Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 overripe bananas chopped and frozen
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender.
  2. Process until completely smooth, adding a little milk of choice if blender isn’t strong enough.
  3. Either serve immediately for soft serve, or freeze for up to an hour before scooping out with an ice cream scoop.

Tips

I personally love the taste of peanut butter, so I increase the amount of peanut butter to ⅓ cup and decrease the amount of cocoa powder to ¼ cup. Also protein powder is optional if you want to add some.
